summer’s shoe…

I think at this point we can all agree that the espadrille is the shoe of the summer. Whether a chunky high-heel wedge worn with a pencil skirt (as above) or a flat lace-up worn with culottes (as below), they are a summer 2016 trend that we will see right through to boot weather.

planning ahead…

The long term forecast is good. It has me daydreaming of ice cream al fresco, open-toe sandals, and light breezy blouses. Luckily, with all the sales currently on I can afford to shop for everything my heart desires without any collateral damage at all (to my bank account). I just love finds like this very chic and stylish sleeveless blouse from H&M.com. I especially love the price!

flats…

It’s no secret that I love to wear heels. At 5 feet 1 inch ‘tall’ they make me feel like I have legs. But let’s face it there are times when heels just aren’t practical. This season is the season of the flat. Whether it’s a trend or longer term fashion must-have remains to be seen.Of course, lats will always be in style if you choose to wear them. It’s a no brainer. Wear what you are comfortable in and you will always get it right.
